Dierks Bentley Making Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb of the Today Show Close Their Eyes

I found this video on YouTube today. It's Dierks being interviewed on the Today show by Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Dierks is one relaxed dude that's for sure. It's a great interview, and he sounds great singing a track from his latest album Feel That Fire (MP3 Album) called I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes (MP3). Enjoy!

Who Looks Better in Daisy Dukes? Jessica Simpson or Megan Fox

I found this over on Buzzfeed.com today. It's asking the question, "Who looks better in Daisy Dukes? Jessica Simpson or Megan Fox. If you ask me, Jessica definitely fills out the Daisy Dukes better than Megan, but in my opinion, no one will wear them better than the original Daisy Duke. What do you think?

Kellie Pickler's New Video For Best Days Of Your Life featuring Taylor Swift

Here's Kellie's new video for her latest single Best Days of Your Life (iTunes MP3) featuring her BFF Taylor Swift. Best Days of Your Life was actually released as a single back in November of 2008. We first saw her perform this song live on the 2008 CMA Awards. So far, it's peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Enjoy!

Jeff Bates' New Music Video For One Thing

Jeff Bates' name might not be a household name to you, but he's been around for a while now. His self-titled third studio album was released last year, and he just released his third single from the album called One Thing (iTunes MP3). Jeff's only top ten country single so far was his debut single The Love Song from his 2003 debut album Rainbow Man. Maybe this one will take him back up the charts. I'm pulling for him. It's a pretty good song. Enjoy!

Eric Church's Video For His New Song Love Your Love The Most

Today is the day that Eric Church fans have been waiting for! Our boy's second studio album Carolina comes out today. Amazon has it on sale right now. The first single from the album is called Love Your Love The Most (MP3), and it's a good one. Right now, it's at #42 on the Billboard Hot Country charts, but I'm looking for this one to do pretty good on the charts. Eric's highest charting single so far was his debut single How 'Bout You from his debut album Sinners Like Me, which peaked at #14. Enjoy!

Taylor Swift's Unplugged Performance Of The Outside

Here's one for all the die-hard Taylor Swift fans out there. The Outside (iTunes MP3) is one of the first songs Taylor ever wrote. She wrote it back when she was 12 years old, and it's about how she struggled with being on "the outside" looking in when she was in school. It's a track from her self-titled debut album. Enjoy!

Go Behind-The-Scenes of John Rich's New Music Video For Shuttin' Detroit Down Featuring Mickey Rourke and Kris Kristofferson

Now this is the way to shoot a music video. Go get some real talent to play the parts (Rourke and Kristofferson) and actually have a game plan for the video. I'm looking forward to seeing this one. Shuttin' Detroit Down (iTunes MP3) is already Rich's highest charting solo single, and his first solo top 40 country hit. It's currently at #13 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. It's the second single released from his second solo album, Son of a Preacher Man, which is slated for release on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Look for this video on our site soon.

Darius Rucker's It Won't Be Like This For Long Moves Up To #1 On The Country Charts

If there was any doubt as to whether Darius Rucker was going to be a successful country singer, you can put all doubts to rest. It Won't Be Like This For Long, Rucker's second single from his first country album, just moved up to #1 on the Billboard Hot Country charts this week. It also became his first #1 country single on the Canadian Country charts as well. Rucker's first country single, Don't Think I Don't Think About It, was also a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Enjoy!

Billy Ray Cyrus' Official Video For Back To Tennessee

If you listen to the words of this song, I think Billy Ray's getting a little tired of the paparazzi spotlight that Miley has around her 24 hours a day. I think Billy Ray's ready to get back to the peace and quiet and sanity of Tennessee. This is the second single from his album of the same name. The first single Somebody Said a Prayer peaked at #33 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Back to Tennessee is currently at #54.

Trace Adkins' Official Music Video For I Can't Outrun You

Trace's latest single on the radio right now is one of my favorite songs out right now. It's called Marry For Money. He hasn't made a video for it yet, and I'm not sure if he is because he has released this video for I Can't Outrun You, which is another track from his latest album X. I Can't Outrun You hasn't been released as an official single yet, but I'm guessing it will be soon. This is one heck of a good country ballad, don't you think? Enjoy!

Watch Dolly Parton's New Video For Backwoods Barbie

Backwoods Barbie is the fifth single from Dolly's 2008 Backwoods Barbie album. Backwoods Barbie the album is her first mainstream country commercial album in ten years, and it's the first album released from her record label Dolly Records. While Dolly is still the queen of country music, mainstream country radio hasn't shown Dolly much love, and therefore, none of the other four singles from this album have cracked the top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country charts.

Better Get To Livin', the first single released last year, peaked at #48, which is the highest solo position she's held on the country charts since 1991's Country Road peaked at #46. It's hard to believe, but Dolly's last solo #1 country hit was 1989's Yellow Roses. She did hit #1 though in 2005 with her duet with Brad Paisley When I Get Where I'm Going. Enjoy!

The Zac Brown Band Singing at a BP Station In South Georgia

You've heard the saying "making the best of a bad situation" right? Well, here's a fantastic example of that principle from the Zac Brown Band. Last year, the guys were stuck at a BP station in Arabi, GA, (the video says Adelphi, but it's actually Arabi) which is a tiny little town in south Georgia. Instead of complaining, they decided to break out the instruments and jam in the parking lot of the BP. The song they're singing is called Can the Circle Be Unbroken (By and By), which is a well-known country/folk song reworked by A. P. Carter from a hymn by Ada R. Habershon and Charles Gabriel. How cool is that?

If you haven't heard their newest single, Whatever It Is (iTunes MP3), check out the official video here. It's destined to be another #1 hit for the boys. Enjoy!

Rodney Atkins' Official Music Video For It's America

I featured Rodney singing It's America live at the 2008 CMA Awards a few days back. Now, it's time for his official music video. It's America (iTunes MP3) is his sixth top ten hit on the Billboard Hot Country charts. It's the first single from his upcoming album of the same name due out on March 31, 2009. Currently it's at #9 on the Hot Country charts. Enjoy!

PHOTOS: Taylor Swift Live In Concert On Her "Fearless" Tour In Sydney, Australia, March 12

Here are some great photos I found of Taylor performing live in Sydney, Australia today as part of her "Fearless" tour. Enjoy!

P.S. I apologize in advance if their are some adult-related banner ads that accompany the photos. That's one of the things we have to deal with in order to be able to post these photos for free.

Video of Julianne Hough Talking About Her Wardrobe Malfunction On Dancing With The Stars

Julianne pulled a double Janet Jackson the other day during a closed rehearsal for Dancing With The Stars. It's funny to hear Julianne describe it, "I did not have these straps on during rehearsal", Julianne says on her CMT blog below. "And basically these girls came out to say hello and did not go back inside." Those naughty girls... Enjoy!

Eric Church Performing Live From Bullshooter's Saloon in Weston, WI

I'm a big fan of Eric Church. His voice, songs and performances are pure country. I found this set of videos from a show Eric did at the Bullshooter's Saloon in Weston, WI last October. There are seven videos in the set. You can watch them all from the one window below. The songs included are: Those I've Loved Along The Way, Ain't Killed Me Yet, Lot of Boot Left To Fill, In America, His Kind of Money (iTunes MP3), How Bout You (iTunes MP3) and Sinners Like Me (iTunes MP3).

Sheila E Wins CMT's Gone Country 3 - Watch Her Video For Glorious Train

Pop legend Sheila E., who was most recently seen as a judge on the now defunct reality show The Next Great American Band, won the third installment of John Rich's Gone Country. The other contestants on the show were runner-up Justin Guarini, who was runner-up to Kelly Clarkson on the first American Idol, George Clinton, Taylor Dayne, Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner, Micky Dolenz, former Monkees singer and drummer and actor Richard Grieco from 21 Jump Street. Here's Sheila's first country video and single called Glorious Train. While the sound might be a little country, the video and her look definitely aren't.

I don't know about you, but I'm a little tired of all the cross-over acts invading country music. Darius Rucker has been great for country music. Jewel has fit in as well. I don't see Jessica Simpson staying country for too much longer, and the winner's of Gone Country don't stand a chance at prolonged success (Julio Iglesias, Jr. - Season One and Sebastian Bach - Season Two). Kid Rock is a superstar no matter what he does, but he wasn't trying to record a country album. He just happened to record a song that country music liked. What are your thoughts about cross-over acts invading country music?

The Wreckers' Jessica Harp Releases First Solo Country Single Called Boy Like Me

Jessica Harp and Michelle Branch stormed onto the country music scene as The Wreckers a few years back. They had tremendous success with their single Leave The Pieces (see video below), which was nominated for a Grammy award. They decided to put The Wreckers on hold while they both recorded solo albums. Michelle went back to pop, but Jessica stayed with country music, and her first country solo album is called A Woman Needs. It's set for release later this summer, and the first single is called Boy Like Me (Buy MP3). It will be released to country radio on March 9th, but luckily for us, she's already released the official music video. Here it is. Enjoy!

Watch Rodney Atkins Performing It's America Live From The 2008 CMA Awards

Rodney's latest single is called It's America (iTunes MP3). As of this post, it's made it to #12 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Rodney doesn't have an official music video for the song yet, but this performance from last year's CMA Awards is as good as any official music video, don't you think? Enjoy!
