Wow! This is just now breaking. Wynonna Judd has fired the man whom police say was a child pornographer and possibly much more. In addition to this video, you can read about this developing story on NewsChannel5.com.
Back in 1968, Jeannie C. Riley's Harper Valley P.T.A. was a monster hit. It hit number one on the Billboard Pop charts on this day back in 1968, and it was also a number one hit on the Country charts. Enjoy this flashback to Harper Valley P.T.A.!
It's been five years since Terri Clark had a top twenty single on the Billboard Country charts, but while she's been missing in action on the Billboard charts, she's been racking up top twenty hits in her native Canada. Gypsy Boots, the first single from her latest album The Long Way Home, has made it to number nine so far on the Canadian Country charts, and I'm hoping we'll see Terri showing up on the charts her in the U.S. soon. Either way, it's good to see her looking and sounding great. Enjoy!
P.S. If you missed it this past summer, check out this video of Terri performing this song live in concert.
Miranda Lambert's new album Revolution hits stores tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Listen as Miranda talks about the new album and how she wouldn't take back one word or one point she made in the album. That's what I love about Miranda. She always speaks her mind and doesn't care who she offends. Enjoy!
P.S. You can pre-order the album and sample each song right now on Amazon.
Newcomer Veronica Ballestrini is back with another single called Out There Somewhere. Her first single was called Amazing. I featured it back in May. If you're not familiar with Ballestrini, she rose to fame on Myspace as fans from around the world "found" her songs on the social network. You can preorder her debut album What I'm All About right now on her website. For more from Veronica, visit her Myspace page or her official website. Enjoy!
Today is country legend Lynn Anderson's birthday. She was born on this day back in 1947. Lynn has five number one country hits to her credit, and none were bigger than her 1970 hit (I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden. Here she is performing the song live on the television show That Good Ole Nashville Music. Enjoy and happy birthday Lynn!
I'm Movin' On is the first single from Rosanne Cash's upcoming new album called The List. The List is made up of 12 songs that Rosanne chose out of 100 songs that her dad Johnny Cash gave to her when she turned 18. The album is due on October 6, 2009. Enjoy!
For a while in the 90's, Deana Carter was as hot as they come. Her debut single Strawberry Wine went to number one on both the Billboard Hot Country charts and the Canadian Country charts. It also won Single of the Year at the 1997 CMA Awards. It's definitely Deana's biggest hit. She scored two more number one hits from her debut album, We Danced Anyway and How Do I Get There. Unfortunately for Deana, How Do I Get There was Deana's last single to break into the top ten on the charts. Still, three number ones from one debut album is pretty darn impressive. Enjoy this look back at the Song of the Year from 1996.
Back in July, Brad Paisley, Alison Krauss and Charley Pride performed at "Country Night" during the White House's summer concert series. This video features Brad performing Welcome to the Future. It's a really cool performance, and the quality of this video is fantastic. Enjoy!

Back on this day in 2005, Sara Evans' A Real Fine Place To Start moved into the number one slot on the Billboard Hot Country charts. It was Sara's fourth number one country hit of her career, and her last to date. This video also went to number one on CMT's Top 2o video countdown on October 6, 2005. This is my favorite song by Sara, and it's definitely my favorite video from her. What can I say? I'm a guy, and she looks amazing in this video. Enjoy!
Honky Tonk Stomp is the second single from Brooks & Dunn's latest album #1's... And Then Some. Right now, it's at #20 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. I was surprised that the first single from this album, Indian Summer (which I really liked), only made it to #16 on the country charts. I'm not sure if this one will make it into the top ten either. I'm not saying the boys saw it coming when they announced that next year will be their last, but Indian Summer was only their third single since 2000 to not make it into the top ten. Who cares though. This is a good video to watch, and a great song to crank up while driving. Enjoy!
Carrie's latest single is called Cowboy Casanova. It was just released digitally today. This performance is from September 17, 2009 after her induction into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame at Muskogee Civic Center. Cowboy Casanova is currently at #11 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. I'm pretty sure this one's going to go straight to the top of the charts just like almost every other song she releases. If you want to pick up the MP3 of this song, it's available now at Amazon. Enjoy!
