Tim McGraw And Alicia Keys On Oprah - Happy Christmas (War Is Over)

On Oprah's Holiday special today, Tim McGraw teamed up with Alicia Keys to belt out John Lennon's Happy Christmas (War Is Over). They did a pretty darn good job if you ask me. What'd you think?

Happy Birthday Mindy McCready - Watch Guys Do It All The Time

Mindy McCready has had an interesting career to this point. She came out of the gates on fire back in 1996 and scored a number one hit with her second single Guys Do It All The Time. Unfortunately, she's been in the public eye over the last several years because of her personal troubles rather than her music. Rather than re-hash those troubles, I'm going to wish Mindy a happy birthday and hope that she can finally get her life back on track. Good luck Mindy. I hope you have a great day. Enjoy a look back at Mindy's first number one hit, Guys Do It All The Time.

One Of, If Not The, Rarest Video Of Shania Twain You'll Ever See

This is cool. This is by far the rarest video I've ever seen of Shania Twain. It's from back in 1991 when Shania was hanging out with friends at Christmas. It would be two more years before her debut album was released in 1993. There's nothing really special about this video except it's an opportunity to see one of country music's all-time biggest stars hanging out singing and playing the guitar without any idea of how her life would change in just a few short years. Enjoy!

Colt Ford's New Video - Mr. Goodtime

Colt Ford's music is a mix between country and rap. His debut album Ride Through The Country was released last year, and the title song, Ride Through The Country, a duet with John Michael Montgomery is starting to receive a lot of airplay on progressive country stations. Mr. Goodtime is another track from his debut album, and he just released this music video for the song. Enjoy!

Their latest single How Far Do You Wanna Go? is currently climbing the charts as well. Here they are in a exclusive performance for CMT's Studio 330 Sessions. It's a an awesome performance. The first song the did was How Far Do You Wanna Go?, and then they did three other songs and had an interview session. You can watch the remaining four videos after the jump. Enjoy!

A Photo I'm Sure Jason Aldean Has A Great Explanation For...

While killing a little time tonight, I stumbled across this photo of Jason Aldean from back in 2006. Officially, here's the caption for this photo: Jason Aldean poses with the Little Pink Tool Kit display at Distinctive Assets during the Academy of Country Music Awards 2006. Unofficially, I'm sure this is a photo that Jason caught quite a lot of grief from his buds once it was published. Come to think of it, I'm sorry for re-publishing it Jason, but it is pretty funny. Enjoy!

But, heck Jason's always up for surprising photos, like this one after the jump:

Happy Birthday to Amy Grant - Watch Her Latest Video For She Colors My Day

Amy Grant may not be a country artist, but she's darn close. First, as Mrs. Vince Gill, she's part of country music royalty, and second, many of her Christian singles would do well on country radio. Either way, I wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday! Earlier this summer, Amy released this song, She Colors My Day, as a download single. Amy and songwriters Cristina Carlino and Stuart Mathis are donating all artist and publishing royalties generated by the sale of this song to the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund. That's pretty cool. If you'd like to help, you can download the song right now from Amazon.com.

P.S. Below this video is Amy and Vince teaming up for House of Love. Enjoy!

Part One:

#1 Flashback - Phil Vassar's Just Another Day In Paradise

Back in on this day in 2000, Phil Vassar scored his first number one hit on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Just Another Day In Paradise was the second single released from Vassar's 1999 self-titled debut album. That album spawned three top ten hits (Carlene #5 and Six-Pack Summer #9) and one other top twenty hit (Rose Bouquet #16). With success like that right out of the shoot, Vassar was destined for greatness.

Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to recreate the same type of success he had with his debut. His pattern of late has been to score one really big hit from an album, and then the remaining singles hover around the mid-20's to 30's on the charts. Nevertheless, Vassar is an extremely talented singer, pianist and songwriter. Enjoy this look back at his first number one hit Just Another Day In Paradise.

Trace Adkins' Every Light In The House Is On - Find Out Why This Song Means So Much To Trace...

Besides being Trace's first top five country hit (it peaked at #3 in 1996), I bet Every Light In The House Is On has a much deeper meaning to Trace. Back on this day in 1996, Trace made his Grand Ole Opry debut, and after singing this song, he dropped to one knee and called out his girlfriend Rhonda Forlaw and asked her to marry him. Fortunately for Trace, she said yes. Pretty cool, huh?
