Dwight is indeed a class act and a very uniquely talented musician, singer and performer! Dwight and Jay are clearly old friends and they honored one another on the show. Jay by inviting Dwight on again (to set a record for guest musical appearances) and Dwight by sincerely complimenting Jay in both words and song ("If There Was a Way" followed by a couple of lines from Green Day's "The Time of Your Life").
You are so right! Dwight Yoakam has ALWAYS been a class act and a perfect gentleman. He and Jay are great together and I hope Jay continues to have him as a guest on his new show. You can just feel the admiration and respect between these two. Love them both and wish them the best!
