New Music From John Rich - Country Done Come To Town - Official Music Video

John Rich's latest is pure John Rich. Country Done Come To Town is the first single from John's upcoming E.P. Rich Rocks. Keep an eye out for some of John's buddies in this video. You'll see the Possum riding in on his lawnmower. Rich's rockin' buddies Sebastian Bach and Ted Nugent also make cameos in the video as well as Gretchen Wilson and Big Vinnie from Trailer Choir. And, a John Rich video wouldn't be complete without a Cowboy Troy sighting as well as two bikini-clad babes wrestling each other in a kiddie pool full of cream corn. Now that ladies and gentleman is definitely Country Done Come To Town!

Gretchen Wilson Talks About Why Her Latest Album Really Is Somewhat Of A Comeback

It's amazing to think that we're talking about Gretchen Wilson staging a comeback, but in today's country music world, that's exactly what she's doing. She started her own record label, and has her first top 30 single (Work Hard, Play Harder) since 2006's California Girls from her All Jacked Up album. Her new album, I Got Your Country Right Here is set to be released on March 30, 2010, and Gretchen believes it's going to be, "The album of my career." Find out why in his interview with CMT's Insider. Enjoy!

P.S. If you haven't seen her video for Work Hard, Play Harder, you can check it out right here.

Amazing Cover Of Heart's Barracuda From Gretchen Wilson And Alice In Chains

Before you say anything, I know... I know... this isn't a country song. However, after adding Gretchen Wilson's Unplugged at Studio 330 session this morning, a friend emailed me this video of Gretchen teaming up with Nancy Wilson and Alice in Chains on Heart's Barracuda, and I was blown away. This is one of the best covers of this song I've ever heard. Gretchen nails the vocals. Even though it's not country, it was too good not to feature. If you like a little southern rock with your country, then you'll love this one. Enjoy!

P.S. Don't forget to show some love to Gretchen by downloading the MP3 of Work Hard, Player Harder.

Gretchen Wilson's Complete Unplugged At Studio 330 Performance

Gretchen Wilson's new album I Got Your Country Right Here is due out sometime in 2010. The first single from the album is the catchy Work Hard, Play Harder, a song co-written by Gretchen, John Rich and Vicky McGehee. The three of them teamed up together to write Gretchen's 2005 hit song All Jacked Up. Work Hard, Play Harder hasn't exactly lit up the charts yet. It debuted at #56 in mid-November, and as of today, it's at #55. However, in my opinion, this is the right kind of song for Gretchen's fan base. I hope it continues to climb the charts, and she's able to reclaim her position as one of country music's leading female singers. It's ironic because Gretchen truly is "country", whereas many of today's top female country stars aren't exactly down home gals. I'm not complaining though. I like the mixture in today's country music landscape.  In my opinion, there's room at the top for the all...

The following videos are from Gretchen's recent Unplugged at Studio 330 session courtesy of CMT.com. Enjoy!

Gretchen Wilson's New Video - Work Hard, Play Harder

For a lot of casual country music fans, the first thing they might think when seeing this video is where's Gretchen been? The truth though is she's been here all along, but because of a dispute with her old record label and a string of singles that failed to make it into the top 40 on the country charts, many might have thought she was taking a break. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Gretchen's been doing exactly what she's singing about in this song. She's been working very hard (and she always plays harder). She just started her own record label called Redneck Records, and she plans to release her fourth album I Got Your Country Right Here sometime in 2010. Work Hard, Play Harder is the fourth single released from that upcoming album. I'd like to see Gretchen's songs residing in the top 40 again. Maybe this song will start the ball rolling. Enjoy!

Gretchen Wilson - You Don't Have To Go Home

Gretchen's latest single released last year is called You Don't Have To Go Home. So far, it's only reached #53 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Unfortunately for Gretchen, she hasn't had a top 20 hit on the charts since her 2005 single All Jacked Up, which peaked at #8 on the charts. Enjoy this live video from Ms. Wilson!

Hank Williams, Jr. Featuring Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson and Van Zant - That's How They Do It In Dixie

Last year, Hank Williams, Jr. hooked up with Van Zant, Gretchen Wilson and Big & Rich for this song, That's How They Do It In Dixie. It's a really good song and a great video, but it didn't do very well on the charts only hitting #36 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. But, it doesn't matter to me where it charted, I like the song and the video. Enjoy!

Gretchen Wilson - Come to Bed and Redneck Woman

Gretchen Wilson exploded onto the country music scene back in 2004 when her debut single, Redneck Woman, went to #1 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. So far, it's her only #1 hit. Her latest single is One Of The Boys, and earlier this year, she released Come to Bed, which was her first single off her third album, One of the Boys. It stalled at #32 on the charts, but the video features a slender and much sexier Gretchen than any of her previous videos. By the way, Big and Rich's John Rich lends his voice to the song, and he and Big Kenny had cameo appearances in Redneck Woman. Enjoy both videos!
