Reba McEntire Becomes A 'Godmother'...

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - APRIL 05: Singer Reba McEntire arrives to Muhammad Ali's Celebrity Fight Night XIV at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa April 5, 2008 in Scottsdale, Arizona. (Photo by Chaley Gallay/Getty Images for Celebrity Fight Night)

...to a cruise ship! That's right. On July 2nd in New York, Reba will christen the newest Norwegian cruise ship, the Norwegian Epic. According to CMT.com:

Reba McEntire will christen the newest Norwegian cruise ship, the 4,400-passenger Norwegian Epic, during an on-board ceremony on July 2 in New York City. McEntire recently returned from a Mediterranean cruise aboard the Norwegian Gem, where she met Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Kevin Sheehan.

In addition to her christening duties, McEntire will be considered the godmother of the Epic. The ship will be more than 60 percent larger than any other Norwegian cruise ship at sea and will feature entertainment such as Blue Man Group, Cirque Dreams and Dinner, Legends in Concert, the Second City, Howl at the Moon and Nickelodeon at Sea.

I don't know about you, but I'd consider it an honor to cruise on a ship that's been christened by the Queen of Country Music!
