#1 Flashback - Dwight Yoakam and Buck Owens - Streets Of Bakersfield (Live)

Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam took the Streets of Bakersfield (MP3) to number one on this day back in 1988. This was Buck's last number one country hit, and Dwight's first. Unbelievably, Yoakam's only had one other number one single since, and it was his next single I Sang Dixie. Enjoy this flashback to 1988!

Dwight Yoakam's Kind Words To Jay Leno

This is Jay Leno's last week as host of The Tonight Show on NBC. The musical guest last night was country's own Dwight Yoakam. Before Dwight's performance last night, he made this heartfelt and impromptu speech. Dwight's a class act. We'll miss you Jay.

Dwight Yoakum - Close Up The Honky Tonks

Close Up The Honky Tonks was the only single Dwight Yoakum released from his 2007 Dwight Sings Buck album, which was his tribute to Buck Owens. It didn't chart on the country charts, but it's a good song nonetheless. Enjoy!
