Randy Houser's New Video - Whistlin' Dixie

Randy Houser's new video for Whistlin' Dixie celebrates Randy's country roots, his love for smoking cigarettes with his "left" hand and fried catfish among other things. Whistlin' Dixie is the first single to be released from Randy's upcoming unnamed album. On a side note, did you see Jessie James new video for My Cowboy. Check it out here. Watch Tim McGraw's New Video For Southern Voice

I really like Tim McGraw's new song Southern Voice. It's the title track to his new album Southern Voice. It's currently at #28 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. The first single from the album, It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You, peaked at #13. I think this one is a top ten hit, and the official video will help. This is his first official solo music video since 2008's Suspicions. He did however shoot a video with Def Leppard for Nine Lives last year as well. I thought I'd let the lyrics describe this song. Happy Birthday Hank Williams Jr. - All Your Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight

Hank Williams Jr. turns 60 today.

Hank was born on May 26, 1949. The year Hank was born, Harry S. Truman was President, the first Volkswagen Beetle arrived in America, Joe Louis retired from boxing, Jim Roper won the first official NASCAR race, the Soviet Union tested it's first atomic bomb and The Lone Ranger premiered on ABC. Some other notable people who share May 26th as their birthday: Stevie Nicks (1948), Peggy Lee (1920), John Wayne (1907) and Jay Silverheels (1919) who played Tonto on The Lone Ranger series.

Justin Moore's Video For Small Town USA

Newcomer Justin Moore's Small Town USA (MP3) is along the same lines as Jason Michael Carroll's Where I'm From and Montgomery Gentry's My Town (MP3). It just moved up into the top 25 on the Billboard Hot Country charts, moving from #28 to #24 this week. If you like this one, you'll love another one of his songs called I Could Kick Your Ass (MP3). Up To Him is the first single from Tracy Lawrence's upcoming The Rock album. This is a different type of song from Tracy. It's a religious song with a timely message for today. I like this one. Today is the day that Eric Church fans have been waiting for! Our boy's second studio album Carolina comes out today. Amazon has it on sale right now. The first single from the album is called Love Your Love The Most (MP3), and it's a good one. Right now, it's at #42 on the Billboard Hot Country charts, but I'm looking for this one to do pretty good on the charts. Eric's highest charting single so far was his debut single How 'Bout You from his debut album Sinners Like Me, which peaked at #14. Enjoy!

Jason Aldean Performing She's Country Live At the 2008 CMA Awards

Jason performed his new single She's Country at the 2008 CMA Awards. I've liked all of Jason's songs so far in his career, but this is the first song he's released that I'm not crazy about. It's not bad, and he does a great job performing it, but I don't think it's going to be a huge hit like some of his earlier songs. But, I've been wrong before, so it could turn out to be a big hit. We'll see. Enjoy!
