A Video Look Back At The 2010 CMT Music Awards

Another CMT Music Awards has come and gone. What did you think of this year's show? CMT continues to push the envelope between country and pop, but unless you've been under a rock the last couple of years, that's the direction "popular" country music has been trending anyway. Love it or hate it, it's reality for now.

The host for this year's show was pop/rap/hard rock/country singer Kid Rock. Kid Rock and a host of other country stars opened up the show to Kid Rock's 1999 single Cowboy. He was joined on stage by Martina McBride, Kellie Pickler, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Zac Brown, Trace Adkins and Hank Williams, Jr. It was definitely a rockin' way to open the show. Here's a look at that video as well as some of the other performances from the night. Enjoy!

Kellie Pickler On The Ellen Show - Monday, March 29, 2010 - Very Funny Interview

Kellie's segment on the Ellen Show actually aired back in February, but it aired again yesterday, and if you haven't seen this yet, it's well worth the watch. It's hilarious watching Kellie go from one thing to another while Ellen just watches. It's safe to say that if you're on the interstate and Kellie's coming up behind you, you'd better move out of the way or else her 'inner demon' is gonna get'cha!

Video Footage Of Kellie Pickler In The 2004 Miss Stanly County Beauty Pageant

Did you know that Kellie was the winner of the 2004 Miss Stanly County Beauty Pageant? I didn't until I stumbled across this little video gem. It's footage of Kellie in the contest. You'll see Kellie in the bikini competition, the singing competition (Martina McBride's Broken Wing), the evening gown competition and the Q&A session (this wasn't her strongest...). I think it's safe to say she's come a long, long way. Enjoy!

Kellie Pickler On The Ellen Show

Kellie Pickler is on the Ellen Show again today. She's a frequent guest on the show, and most of the time, Ellen doesn't even have to say anything. It's just fun to watch and listen to Kellie. If she ever gets tired of singing, I think there are a lot of networks that would jump at the chance to have Ms. Pickler host a talk show. Here's the link to today's show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6i0sl5u4UY.

After watching today's segment, it reminded me of all the other times she was on with Ellen. My favorite was last year's Halloween special when Kellie strutted on out dressed like Dolly Parton. If you've got some time, I think you'll enjoy that one as well as two other appearances below.

PHOTO: Kellie Pickler Showing Off Her New Shorter 'Pixie Cut' Hairdo

Kellie's had a lot of different looks since we first saw her on American Idol, and now she's decided to go with an even shorter hairdo (photo below from People.com). Personally, I think she's beautiful no matter what style hairdo she goes with, but to compare, here's a look at the many different looks of Kellie Pickler.

Relive Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler's American Idol Auditions

With Shania as a guest judge tonight on American Idol, I thought I'd take a look back at the very first time we were introduced to two of country music's leading ladies. Enjoy this look back at the American Idol auditions for both Kellie Pickler and Carrie Underwood. Wow, how their lives have changed in a few short years. Can you believe that Carrie had never flown before American Idol and used to get up early and feed the cows? It's amazing how far these two have come since their first audition. Enjoy!

Kellie Pickler, Randy Houser & Jamey Johnson On USO Tour In The Middle East

Today's Post Is From:

Kellie Pickler is somewhere in the Middle East right now, entertaining the military on a USO tour. On her Twitter page, she says "it has been, once again, an unbelievable experience in the Middle East." And, she says "it isn’t over yet." She’s with Randy Houser and Jamey Johnson. Kellie says they’re "a handful of crazy" which she says she is, too. She had to cut short her Twitter time because she had to go catch a helicopter.

Kellie Pickler's Sexy New Video For Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You

Fresh off the heels of her first top ten single (Best Days Of Your Life), Kellie's released her third single from her self-titled second album. It's called Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You, and it's currently at #53 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Best Days Of Your Life peaked at #9, and I think this one might have a chance to go even higher. What do you think?

Kellie Pickler Performing Best Days Of Your Life Live On The Ellen Show

I didn't get a chance to see this back when she was on Ellen, but I'm glad I found this today. It's a super clear video of Kellie Pickler's performance of Best Days Of Your Life. This song is Kellie's highest charting single of her career. It's currently sitting right outside the top ten at number 11. I hope it keeps going and becomes her first top ten single. Enjoy!
