Deana Carter's Strawberry Wine - 1996 Single of the Year

For a while in the 90's, Deana Carter was as hot as they come. Her debut single Strawberry Wine went to number one on both the Billboard Hot Country charts and the Canadian Country charts. It also won Single of the Year at the 1997 CMA Awards. It's definitely Deana's biggest hit. She scored two more number one hits from her debut album, We Danced Anyway and How Do I Get There. Unfortunately for Deana, How Do I Get There was Deana's last single to break into the top ten on the charts. Still, three number ones from one debut album is pretty darn impressive.
