Video of Kanye West Interrupting Taylor Swift's Acceptance Speech at 2009 MTV VMA's

I can't tell you how much this aggravated me. Taylor won the VMA for Best Female Video tonight at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, and in the middle of her acceptance speech, freaking Kanye West comes out and grabs the microphone from her and tells the audience that Beyonce made the best video of all-time. The perfect end to this would have been if Trace Adkins or Toby Keith had been in the crowd, and they stepped up there and body slammed him to the ground. Oh well. Congratulations Taylor! You deserved it, and you earned it.

Anonymous said...: Wow. Can you believe what he did? Never even knew who he was until his mother died. Was he this rude before his mom died? If not, this man needs some professional counselling. I don't think mommy would approve of his behavior, do you? The movie "Carrie" comes to mind when I think of what he did to Taylor. She was so elated. It was HER time in front of millions of people to feel so special. Um, I love Beyonce's music and I really haven't listened to Taylor's music, but that's neither here nor there. The point is, who does Kayne think he is? Everyone is entitled to their opinion but he had absolutely no right to use that forum for his personal opinion. Beyonce probably has so many awards that she really doesn't care if she wins. I get the feeling that since his mother died, Kayne is leading a path of self destruction. He needs someone he respects to really set him straight - on how not to interrupt someone's big moment and to get his act/life together and make his mother proud.; September 14, 2009 at 6:54 AM
