Danny Gokey's Debut Appearance On The Grand Ole Opry Stage

When Danny Gokey auditioned for American Idol, I don't think he ever thought he'd be on the stage at the Grand Ole Opry performing, but that's exactly where he was last night. I don't have the video from his performance yet, but here's the audio. He performed his debut country single My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me as well as It's Only. CMTT has more details about his performance. Enjoy!

I attended both of the Opry shows the evening Danny Gokey made his first appearance. He was a little bit nervous, I think, but sounded strong and clear in the four songs he performed. The Opry hosts and crowd gave him a warm response. Nice start for a new country artist.

It was great and a honor to be able to listen to the Opry shows. I was very impressed with his performances as that stage can be very intimidating for a rising star, he was definitely worthy of being there. I have become a fan of country because of Danny Gokey. I have a strong feeling that Danny will be returning to that stage and I hope to be part of the live audience when that happens.
