We went to see the Zac Brown Band in concert last night at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre here in the Atlanta area. It was an awesome concert, especially since we were sitting on the third row right in front of the stage! One of the best moments of the night to me was actually before Zac and the boys took the stage. The opening act was The Levon Helm Band, which is led by none other than the great Levon Helm from The Band (see photos below). Zac surprised them and came out on stage to perform The Band's classic song The Weight. Here's their performance. Enjoy!
P.S. If you ever get a chance to see ZBB perform live, don't miss them. They put on one helluva good show, and Zac is the most generous performer I've ever seen. He shared the stage with a number of different artists, and he let them have the spotlight unlike some artist's who bring someone up, but overshadow them the entire time. He's definitely a class act!
