Flashback To Hank Williams Sr.'s Very First Number One Single - Lovesick Blues

On this day back in 1949, Hank Sr.'s cover version of Lovesick Blues became his first number one country single. It's one of the few cover songs Hank Sr. ever recorded, and in 2004, it was one of 50 recordings chosen by the Library of Congress to be added to the National Recording Registry. Enjoy this number one flashback from Hank Williams!

Hank Williams - Cold Cold Heart - Valentine's Day Love Songs (22 of 24)

Hank Williams' Cold Cold Heart is about a man who's fallen in love with a woman who's already with someone else. It's a classic that I had to share. And, I love the beginning of this video where Hank tells the crowd how this song "has been awful kind to me and the boys... it's bought us a lot of beans and biscuits..." Now that's classic! Enjoy and Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

P.S. Be sure to check back every hour as we're featuring a new love song every hour until midnight tonight.
