Kenny and Uncle Kracker's reggae-influenced classic went to number one today back in 2004. Obviously, Kenny's had a ton of number one country hits, but this was and still is Uncle Kracker's only number one on the country charts. His latest single, Smile, has broken into the top 40 though. Kenny was on with Mike and Mike in the Morning yesterday, and he talked about getting the chance to suit up with the New Orleans Saints and participate in their practice. Kenny may not have won the CMA Entertainer of the Year award this year, but he's still one of, if not the, best entertainers that country music has ever seen. And, for all those who haven't been fortunate enough to see him in person, you'll be able to see him on the big screen like never before. Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D will hit movie theaters in April 2010. It chronicles Kenny over the course of six nights in five cities. Not only will you see the concert in 3D, but also everything else happening backstage, offstage, before and after the concerts. Sounds pretty cool to me...

Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews I'm Alive Music Video

Shaun Silva's latest effort for Kenny Chesney is another good one. Kenny teamed up with Dave Matthews for a new song called I'm Alive. It's a very different song for Kenny, and I have to admit that I didn't really like this song at first. However, I'm starting to like it the more I hear it. I've always been a big fan of Dave Matthews. I saw him play live before he was famous at a bar in Tuscaloosa, AL called the Ivory Tusk back when I was in college at Alabama in the early 90's, and I've been a fan ever since. Obviously, America likes this song because it's already at #12 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Enjoy!

These days, Kenny Chesney is on top of the world. His duet with Mac McAnally, Down The Road (iTunes MP3), moved up to #1 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. This is Kenny's third number one single in a row, and his 16th number one single on the Hot Country charts. Amazingly, the only single that didn't reach number one from his latest album and his last album Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates, was his duet with George Strait, Shiftwork (iTunes MP3). It peaked at number two.
