On this day back in 2003, during a concert in London, lead chick Natalie Maines said, "We're ashamed the President of the United States is from Texas," and although the British crowd cheered, country radio reacted quite differently. Almost unanimously, country radio stations across the country stopped playing their music, and for the most part, continue to boycott them today. It'll be interesting to see if country radio accepts Court Yard Hounds, the new band headed up by two of the three chicks, Martie Maguire and Emily Robison. Only time will tell...
