Congrats To Miranda Lambert - The House That Built Me Is Number One This Week!

Miranda's latest single The House That Built Me moved up to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts this week. This is her first number one single on the Billboard charts. Earlier this year, she scored her first number one single on any chart when White Liar went to number one on the USAToday/MediaBase charts (It peaked at #2 on the Billboard country charts). It peaked at #32 on the Billboard Hot Country charts in 2005.  Her third single from the album was the title cut Kerosene, which was her first top 20 hit. The House That Built Me is a track from Miranda Lambert's current album Revolution. It's an amazing song, and my personal favorite from the album. It was ranked #1 on the 9513's Best Country Songs of 2009. That's high praise for a song that wasn't even released as a single. I'm pretty sure it will be, but it hasn't been so far. Miranda performed her latest single White Liar last night, and she did a great job. I really like this song. Miranda's so cool to me. A buddy of mine who owns a magazine did a feature on her, and said that the Miranda you see on TV is the same Miranda you see in person. In his words, "She's one helluva fun girl to be around!" Miranda Lambert's Video For Dead Flowers

Miranda Lambert looks pretty darn sexy in her new video for Dead Flowers. Dead Flowers is the first single from her third studio album Revolution. It's currently at #37 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Personally, I think this song is top 20 material, but I'm not sure if it'll make it that high. Maybe the video will help push it up the charts. Whether or not it makes it into the top 20, it's still a good song to me. Enjoy!
