Sugarland were on Good Morning America's Summer concert series yesterday morning. Here are a couple of their performances. The first video is Wide Open, which is a song they wrote for the Winter Olympics, and the second video is their 2008 number one single All I Want To Do. Enjoy!

Determined Jake Owen Fan Chronicles Her "Shhh ... It Happens" Day on YouTube

Country music lover Kelly Jean was determined to see Jake Owen last weekend and didn't let a broken-down car, faulty GPS, bad directions or a scary neighborhood keep her from her man.

She scored front row seats for the Sugarland/Jake Owen concert and had been looking forward to the show for months. So when her day started to go very, very wrong, she kept her sense of humor and refused to give up. Not only did she get to the concert, she also got a little extra love from country hottie Jake.

Kelly chronicled her journey from Long Island to Camden, New Jersey -- a trip that should have taken two hours but ended up taking 11! -- in a very funny video on YouTube.

Today is Sugarland's Kristian Bush's birthday. Kristian was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 14, 1970. Happy 40th Kristian! In honor of Kristian's birthday, here's a video many of you may have never seen. Before Kristian and Jennifer Nettles joined up, Kristian was part of another duo from 1990 to 2001 called Billy Pilgrim. Billy Pilgrim was Kristian and Andrew Hyra (Meg Ryan's brother). This was one of my favorite songs from Billy Pilgrim. It's 1995's Sweet Louisiana Sound. Enjoy!

Very Rare Recording Of Sugarland's Turning Blue From Their First Performance At Eddie's Attic In Decatur, Georgia

Before Sugarland made it big, they played small clubs just like every other band out there trying to make it. One of those clubs was Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA. All three, Jennifer, Kristian and Kristen, had played at Eddie's Attic many times individually, but this recording is reportedly from the very first time they played the club as 'Sugarland'. This song is called Turning Blue, and it's a fantastic song. If anyone knows more about this performance, please comment below. I'd love to hear from you. Also, if you're ever in the Atlanta area, I highly recommend you visit Eddie's Attic. It's one of the best local clubs you'll ever visit. Enjoy!

Sugarland - Down In Mississippi (Up To No Good) - Official Music Video

I saw this video today and realized I've never featured it on the site. Down in Mississippi (Up To No Good) is one of my favorite Sugarland tunes, so there's no time like the present to feature it. It was the last single released from their debut album Twice The Speed of Life, and surprisingly, only made it to #17 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Oh well, it wouldn't have mattered if it didn't even chart, it's still a great song to me. Enjoy this look back at an early Sugarland tune.

Too often, bands just throw up a video for the heck of it, and it shows. However, when a video is done right, it's a breath of fresh air. Silva's new video for Sugarland's Keep You is a good one.
