Billy Currington was born on this day back in 1973. Billy's career has really taken off over the last few years. To celebrate his birthday, let's take a look at his very first number one hit. Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right went to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts back in 2005. He's since scored two more number one hits: 2006's Good Directions and People Are Crazy this year. Happy Birthday Billy!

Billy Currington's People Are Crazy Moves Up To Number One On The Country Charts

Billy Currington's People Are Crazy moved up to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts this week, becoming the third number one single of his career. The other two were 2005's Must Be Doin' Something Right and 2006's Good Directions. I loved this song the first time I heard it, and I'm happy for Billy. A while back I featured the official music video, and now, here's a look at Billy performing the song here in Atlanta at Cowboys. Congrats Billy! Enjoy.

Good Directions was Billy Currington's second #1 Billboard Hot Country single. It spent three weeks atop the charts in 2005. It was his second #1 single from his 2005 album, Doin' Something Right, and his 2nd #1 hit overall. Must Be Doin' Something Right was the first #1.

This video is actually a homemade video to the song by a guy named Jason Dodge. It's not bad, but it sort of has the feel of a low budget Cinemax skin flick if you ask me. What do you think? Enjoy!
