Congratulations to Billy Currington! His latest single, That's How Country Boys Roll, rolled past Josh Turner's Why Don't We Just Dance to take over the number one spot on the Billboard Hot Country charts for the week of March 20, 2010. This is Billy's fourth number one country single, and his second in a row after People Are Crazy. Enjoy!
Billy's That's How Country Boys Roll moved up to number five on the Billboard Hot Country charts this week, making it his third top five hit in a row. People Are Crazy went all the way to number one, and Don't peaked at number two. This one might have enough steam to move up a few more slots as well. We shall see. Enjoy!

Billy Currington was born on this day back in 1973. Billy's career has really taken off over the last few years. To celebrate his birthday, let's take a look at his very first number one hit. Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right went to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts back in 2005. He's since scored two more number one hits: 2006's Good Directions and People Are Crazy this year. Happy Birthday Billy!
P.S. Did you know that before Billy hit it big with music, he was a personal trainer in the Nashville area? Not hard to believe, huh?
Billy Currington's People Are Crazy moved up to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts this week, becoming the third number one single of his career. The other two were 2005's Must Be Doin' Something Right and 2006's Good Directions. I loved this song the first time I heard it, and I'm happy for Billy. A while back I featured the official music video, and now, here's a look at Billy performing the song here in Atlanta at Cowboys. Congrats Billy! Enjoy.
I loved this song the first time I heard it. It has one of the best chorus lines I've ever heard in a song:
God is Great Beer is Good And, People are Crazy. Amen to that!
Here are the lyrics in their entirety:
This old man and me, were at the bar and we Were having us some beers and swapping I don't cares Talking politics, blonde and red-head chicks Old dogs and new tricks and habits we ain't kicked
We talked about Gods grace and all the hell we raised Then I heard the ol' man say; God is great, beer is good and People Are Crazy
He said "I fought two wars, Been married and divorced" What brings you to Ohio? He said "Damned if I know" We talked an hour or two about every girl we knew What all we put them through Like two old boys will do
We pondered life an death He light a cigarette He said "These damn things will kill me yet; But God is great, beer is good and people are crazy"
Last call its 2am, I said goodbye to him I never talk to him again Then one sunny day, I saw the old mans face Front page Obituary, he was a millionaire he left his fortune to some guy he barely knew, his kids were mad as hell But me, I'm doing well And I drop by today, to just say thanks and pray, I left a six-pack right there on his grave and i said; God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.
Billy Currington has a new album set for release later this year called Little Bit of Everything. The first single from that album is called Don't. It's currently sitting at #31 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. This is his first single since last year when he only released one single called Tangled Up. Enjoy!
Good Directions was Billy Currington's second #1 Billboard Hot Country single. It spent three weeks atop the charts in 2005. It was his second #1 single from his 2005 album, Doin' Something Right, and his 2nd #1 hit overall. Must Be Doin' Something Right was the first #1.
This video is actually a homemade video to the song by a guy named Jason Dodge. It's not bad, but it sort of has the feel of a low budget Cinemax skin flick if you ask me. What do you think? Enjoy!
In honor of Saturday night parties everywhere, here's Shania Twain with both Billy Currington and Mark McGrath singing her 2004 hit single, Party For Two. Enjoy both videos!
