Happy Birthday Willie Nelson! Watch Pancho & Lefty One More Time...

Today is Willie Nelson's 76th birthday. At 76, Willie is still the hardest working man in country music. He just released his 77th studio album in March called Naked Willie, which includes remixes of recordings from 1966-1970 that have been stripped-down without orchestration or background vocals. In honor of Willie's birthday, here's the video for my favorite Willie Nelson song. It's his duet with Merle Haggard called Pancho & Lefty (MP3). Enjoy!

Snoop Dogg's Official Music Video For His Country Song - My Medicine

2008 saw a number of pop (Jessica Simpson and Jewel) and rock (Darius Rucker, Kid Rock and Sebastian Bach) artists crossover to country. But, the most surprising and entertaining to me was when Snoop Dogg teamed up with Willie Nelson and recorded a country song called My Medicine. It's probably still too much like rap for country purists, but it's interesting to see other artists taking a stab at country music. Enjoy!

Willie Nelson - You Don't Know Me

Willie Nelson has been releasing a new album almost every year since his first album in 1962. In 2006, he released You Don't Know Me: The Songs of Cindy Walker, in which every song was written by the late Cindy Walker, who wrote many notable songs like Dream Baby sung by Roy Orbison. This was the only video Willie shot for the songs on this album. Enjoy!
