Kenny Chesney Tells Oprah He 'Panicked' After Marrying Renee Zellweger
“I panicked,” he explained. “I look at my life as a box. … So everything that I put in — learn how to play guitar, put that in the box. The friends I made. I put that in the box, and my career grew. That box built grew into this wonderful house… And you protect everything and all the relationships and all the people that helped you build that house.”
However, the country star said his brief marriage didn’t make its way into the box.
“It was out of the box. Oh my God, but it’s tough. It really is tough,” Chesney said. “And she’s a sweet soul, no doubt about it, but I just wasn’t ready…. This is the first time I’ve actually talked about it, but that’s what happened.”

Check Out Photos Of Kenny Chesney's New Mammoth Tennessee Home
Bella Luce is a gated 30-acre private estate in Franklin,Tennessee. The 11,143 square foot villa is on a higher elevation for beautiful views. The home's great room includes matching bookend fireplaces that rise 25 feet to meet the handcrafted Douglas fir trusses. The five-bedroom home has a kitchen with fireplace, a theater with stadium seating, billiards room and exercise room. One particularly nice feature is the tall lookout tower. The grounds also include a six-car garage and an infinity-edged pool. The new home is enhanced with older details including 150-year-old bricks and reclaimed walnut floors.
Pretty nice, huh?

Is Kenny Chesney Using A Stunt Double To Open His New Shows?
My sources say absolutely not. But, the rumor has already spread all over the internet. You can see Kenny in his swing apparatus at the left. He's coming to Atlanta in a few weeks, and I'll be able to tell you with my own eyes (and binoculars), but according to eye witness reports from people who've already attended his concerts, there's no way this could be true.
Specifically, he's dropped off right on stage and continues on with the song, and people up front can vouch for Kenny that it's really him.
All of this started reminding me of all the outrageous and sometimes dangerous stunts Garth Brooks used to do during his concerts back in the late 80's and 90's. If you never attended one of Garth's concerts, check out this video, and you'll see what I mean. Garth remains one of the best live entertainers to ever grace a country stage.
And, Kenny's pretty darn good in concert as well...

Kenny Chesney Parties With Playmates And Gets Key To The Playboy Club
Kenny may not have won any awards at the 2009 ACM Awards, but he won a prize that millions of guys around the world would like to win. Kenny partied into the night at The Playboy Club in Vegas (see picture below), and two of Hef's finest gave him a coveted key to the club. What does the "key" mean? According to LasVegasSun.com:
As a key holder, Chesney is now eligible for exclusive access and amenities at various Palms properties, including the Playboy Club, Moon, Rain, Ghostbar, the Palms Pool & Bungalows, and the Pearl.
Fellow A-list Playboy Club Key members include George Clooney, Matt Damon, Josh Duhamel, Paris Hilton, Michael Phelps, Brad Pitt and Gwen Stefani.
Chesney and several friends celebrated his new bling in the VIP area of both the Playboy Club and Moon. The group kicked off their ACMA weekend with glasses of Ketel One vodka mixed with cranberry juice, Red Bull, and rounds of “lemon drop” shots."
Not a bad way to wash away the blues of not winning any awards, huh?
