Before he was hawking sausages, Jimmy Dean was known primarily as the "Big Bad John" guy. Big Bad John went to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts on this day back in 1961. It also went to number one on both the Hot 100 and AC charts. I've always loved this song. Enjoy!

I'm introducing a new feature on the site this year. It's the Friday Flashback Video of the Week. Every Friday, I'm going to flashback to the past and feature a video from one of today's or yesterday's stars.

This week, I'm featuring Marty Stuart's highest charting single Tempted, which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot Country charts back in 1991. Marty has never stopped performing, but unfortunately, today's country radio doesn't have much room for Marty's honky tonk brand of country. Although, if more artists like Jamey Johnson keep popping up on the radio, legends like Marty might make a comeback. Enjoy!
