Tim McGraw UNCUT - Go Behind-The-Scenes With Tim McGraw Five Hours Before Showtime

Watch as Tim flies in five hours before showtime and follow him behind-the-scenes as he prepares for a concert. My two favorite quotes from the video from Tim:

(1) The biggest part of doing something is actually making the decision that you are going to do it, and then do it.
(2) How can you change directions if you're not moving.

Enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at life on the road with Tim McGraw.

Bring on the Rain is an uplifting number one song from Jo Dee Messina and Tim McGraw. It went to number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts on this day back in 2002. This was Jo Dee's fifth number one single of her career. She's since scored one more number one with 2005's My Give A Damn's Busted. Enjoy this number one ballad from Jo Dee and Tim!

Tim McGraw Is Back On Top - Southern Voice Is The Number One Country Song This Week

It's taken longer than expected I'm sure, but Tim McGraw is back on top of the country charts. His single Southern Voice knocked Reba's Consider Me Gone out of the top spot on the Billboard Hot Country charts for the week of January 30, 2010. Tim's last number one was 2007's Last Dollar (Fly Away), which was written by Big Kenny. Enjoy both videos below!

Tim McGraw - If You're Reading This - Veteran's Day Video Marathon

The eighth video in our Veteran's Day Video Marathon is Tim McGraw's If You're Reading This. This is a really cool live performance from last year.

If you're reading this
My momma is sitting there
Looks like I only got a one way ticket over here
I sure wish I could give you one more kiss
War was just a game we played when we were kids
Well I'm laying down my gun
I'm hanging up my boots
I'm up here with God
And we're both watching over you

So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my momma always prayed where it would go.
If you're reading this I'm already home.

If you're reading this
Half way around the world
I won't be there to see the birth of our little girl
I hope she looks like you
I hope she fights like me
Stand up for the innocent and the weak
I'm laying down my gun
Hanging up my boots
Tell dad I don't regret that id follow in his shoes

So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul is where my momma always prayed where it would go
If you're reading this, I'm already home

If you're reading this, there is going to come a day
You move on and find someone else and that?s okay
Just remember this
I'm in a better place
Soldiers live in peace and angels sing amazing grace

So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul is where my momma prayed where that it would go
If you're reading this
If you're reading this
I'm already home

Happy Veteran's Day!

Watch Tim McGraw's New Video For Southern Voice

I really like Tim McGraw's new song Southern Voice. It's the title track to his new album Southern Voice. It's currently at #28 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. The first single from the album, It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You, peaked at #13. I think this one is a top ten hit, and the official video will help. This is his first official solo music video since 2008's Suspicions. He did however shoot a video with Def Leppard for Nine Lives last year as well. I thought I'd let the lyrics describe this song. Enjoy!

Hank Williams sang it
Number 3 drove it
Chuck Berry twanged it
Will Farmer wrote it
Aretha Franklin sold it
Dolly Parton graced it
Rosa Parks rode it
Scarlett O chased it

Smooth as the hickory wind
That blows from Memphis
Down to Appalachia Coal
It's hi ya'll did ya eat well
Come on in I'm
Sure glad to know ya
Don't let this old goat cross
In this Almond Brothers t-shirt and throw ya
It's cicadas making noise
With the southern voice

Hank Aaron smacked it
Michael Jordan dunked it
Pocahantas tracked it
Jack Daniels drunk it
Tom Petty rocked it
Dr. King paved it
Bear Bryant won it
Billy Graves saved it

Smooth as the hickory wind
That blows from Memphis
Down to Appalachia Coal
It's hi ya'll did ya eat well
Come on in I'm
Sure glad to know ya
Don't let this old goat cross
In this Crimson Tide t-shirt and throw ya
It's cicadas making noise
With the southern voice

Jesus is my friend
America is my home
Sweet iced tea and Jerry Lee
Daytona Beach
That's what gets to me
I can feel it in my bones

Smooth as the hickory wind
That blows from Memphis
Down to Appalachia Coal
It's hi ya'll did ya eat well
Come on in child
I'm sure glad to know ya
Don't let this old goat cross
In this Charlie Daniels t-shirt and throw ya
We're just boys making noise
With the southern voice

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Southern Voice
I got a southern voice
A southern voice
