If you missed last night's 2009 Academy of Country Music Awards, you missed one of the better award shows in quite some time. There were a number of surprise winners as well as some fantastic live performances. In the video playlist below, you'll see a very moving performance by Trace Adkins and the West Point Cadet Glee Club singing Til The Last Shot's Fired (iTunes MP3) as well as Taylor Swift's "magical" entrance. Entertainer of the Year: Carrie Underwood - Huge Surprise - Kenny Chesney won this award the last four years in a row. (See her acceptance speech in the playlist below)

Miranda Lambert Wins The Album of the Year Award at the 2008 ACM Awards

Miranda was completely surprised to win the Album of the Year award on Sunday night at the 2008 ACM Awards. My favorite part of this video is when she mouths, "Oh Sh*t" as she's walking up to the podium. Good for you Miranda. You deserve it!
